Bitch Picnic is a seasoned, high energy, 4 piece female fronted cover band, based out of central Alberta. With heavy driven bass, tasty guitar riffs, heart thudding drums and powerhouse vocals, Bitch Picnic is surely to get the crowd pumped up at any venue. We offer a wide variety of songs ranging from the 70’s, all the way to the late 2000’s. 

Our genres include rock, pop, disco, and country. Members of this band have had many highlights throughout the years including opening up for Canadian rock bands Trooper, Harlequin, Platinum Blonde and Headpins. .

Drums - Chey Larson
Although being the youngest member in the band, Chey has achieved many great music highlights in her drum career. Her versatility in genres of music has led her to open up for many Canadian artists like, KOS, Merkules, Madchild and recently, Trooper.

Bass - Warren Smithson
Warren has been part of multiple projects playing to crowds of 1000 +, including opening for Canadian rock bands Harlequin & Platinum Blonde.

Lead Vocal - Jodi Smithson
Jodi formerly fronted the same band for 12 + years, which Included opening up for the band Trooper. In 2023, she was chosen to front a Rush/Van Halen tribute to Eddie V. & Neil P. Showcasing her incredible vocal range.

Guitar - Trent Shoemaker
Trent has played in many bands and venues throughout his years, which has made him a top notch heavy rock lead guitar player in central Alberta. He has opened up for Canadian rock bands Headpins, Coney Hatch, Kick Axe, Bighouse and The Age of Electric.
